Playing bingo and having an active social life in old age can significantly reduce the chances of becoming disabled, a new study suggests. Doctors found that keeping busy could cut the chance of developing a disability by almost two thirds.

A very similar game called housie is played in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK (where it is called Bingo). This game differs only in ticket layout and calling. (Telegraph)
